Description

No one else can see the evil fairies that rouse Tanya from her sleep, torturing her at the slightest mention of their existence, but they are as real to the 13-year-old as anything she's ever known. She cannot rid herself of them, nor can she ignore them. But it is her insistence on responding to them that has her banished to her grandmother's secluded countryside manor.
There is much to explore and even more to fear in the woods surrounding the estate. But, the forest isn't the only source of dark secrets, and Tanya soon finds herself entangled in a mystery that could trap her in the fairy realm forever.

Well, I'm in forty-seven. I administrate nine on my own, and share one with my friend Rene11. And I agree that 13 Treasures is awesome. It's one of my favorite books of all time! One of my book clubs are actually reading 13 Treasures right now. It's called Michelle Harrison (after the author). Would you like to join or become the second administrator?

For anyone new here, welcome! I decided we should read the debut novel of Michelle Harrison - 13 Treasures. This is one of the best books I have ever read. It's so good, it's sort of hard to believe it's a debut novel! You'll love it!

This is my favorite book EVER. It's unpredictable, exiting, funny, and filled with secrets and mysteries. It all starts when when Tanya is sent to her grandmother for the summer. She's totally bummed, because her Grandmother isn't exactly the easist person to get along with, the house doesn't have a TV or anything, the groundskeeper and his son, Fabian don't trust her, and the former groundskeeper is crazy. Anybody else obsessed with this book?? You can steal that watch my Grandma gave me, but you won't steal my copy of 13 Treasures unless you want to see tomorrow. ( You also won't steal my watch unless you want some Kung Fu and some other stuff I've seen on Monday Night Raw.)

I want to read 13 Treasures by Michelle Harrison. It is a super wonderful fantasy story about fairies, dark and good magic, the fairy realm and a 50 year old mystery about a missing girl. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

Best book EVER. Michelle Harrison wrote this book very well, and even if I could not sleep, due to the fact that evil fairies might be lurking around, it was totally worth it. The mystery of Morwenna Bloom intrigued me and the story grasped me and pulled me in. Sure, my Dad yelled at me for 15 minutes saying that all I did was read and that I should do something worthwhile, but, again, totally worth it. :)

How can I describe this book? Funny, entertaining, well thought out, and wonderfully written. It's so good. I recommend this to anybody. If you have some free time, go to your local library or a nearby bookstore to get it. It will totally be worth... more
