1.Who are your favorite authors?: William Faulkner, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Don DeLillo, Virginia Woolf, Charles Dickens, Vladimir Nabokov, Suzanne Collins, Philip Pullman, Cathrynne M. Valente.
2.Who has had a major influence on your writing?: All of the above plus Gabriel Garcia Marquez and other magical realism writers.
3.Can you name at least one book that you never finished?: Anna Karenina
4.What word or words do you always have trouble spelling?: Every word with an ie or ei.
5.What three adjectives best describe you?: Sensitive, romantic, devoted.
6.Which of your characters would you most like to be and why?: Arriane seems like she has the most fun. She's also surprisingly sensitive, which I appreciate.
7.Which author would you invite to dinner?: Dickens. I would love to talk to him about his revision process and his speed and wit.
8.Where do you write?: At home, in my office, facing Laurel Canyon with my dog at my feet.
9.When do you write?: In the morning, after a brainstorming-run. I write from about 10-6 each day.
10.What makes you happy?: Laughing, cooking, dancing, loved ones.
11.What do you most fear?: Falling.
12.What is your favorite vice?: Red wine.
13.What is the quality you most like in yourself?: Perceptiveness.
14.What are the qualities you most like in your friends?: Senses of humor.
15.Would you be lying if you said your works were not autobiographical?: Not at all.
16.What part of your personality do you detest?: I cry and blush too easily . it's too easy to tell how I am feeling.
17.What is your favorite adjective?: Terrific.
18.What is your favorite book?: At the moment: The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Cathrynne M. Valente.
19.What book would you read three times?: All my favourite books get read 6+ times.
20.To whom would you award the Nobel Prize for Literature and why?: Philip Pullman. He knows just how to blow things up into something bigger and more astonishing with every book, every chapter, every sentence.

I just finished reading Rapture two days ago..... it was absolutely amazing. Although the ending was not what I thought it was going to be...but I loved it! <3

I hope that they make movies about the fallen series.....it would be the best!!. I can't wait to read Rapture. I have read every book that Lauren Kate has ever published. :)
