 1.Who are your favorite authors?
Right now I’m into Chevy Stevens, William Lashner and Michael Connolly..
 2.Who has had a major influence on your writing?
My sister, Nancy Bush, Alfred Hitchcock and maybe Daphne DuMaurier.
 3.Can you name at least one book that you never finished?
The Exorcist (too scary).
 4.What word or words do you always have trouble spelling?
Reuben (as in Montoya, yeah, I know!) Maneuver. Exercise.
 5.What three adjectives best describe you?
Funny. Hardworking. Frantic.
 6.Which of your characters would you most like to be and why?
NONE. They are crazy. I’m much calmer.
 7.Which author would you invite to dinner?
Nancy Bush, my sister, because we’d have a great time.
 8.Where do you write?
In my den on a laptop.
 9.When do you write?
Mornings, mainly, but some afternoons. Rarely the evening.
10.What makes you happy?
Family, friends and fun. Oh, and that wonderful feeling of accomplishment.
11.What do you most fear?
Loss of a loved one.
12.What is your favorite vice?
Popcorn or nachos. Maybe ice cream. Definitely food.
13.What is the quality you most like in yourself?
I’m a glass is half full kind of girl.
14.What are the qualities you most like in your friends?
They are funny, kind, love life and “get” me.
15.Would you be lying if you said your works were not autobiographical?
Nope.
16.What part of your personality do you detest?
If I let myself, I can become too obsessive/compulsive.
17.What is your favorite adjective?
Oh, man, there are too many. I Don’t know.
18.What is your favorite book?
Wow…so many. Maybe The Sisterhood by Michael Palmer—but I read it eons ago. Oh, and Midwives by Chris Bojahlian. I also just read Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and loved it…I could go on and on.
19.What book would you read three times?
None. Not enough time. You know, so many books, so little time. Maybe Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier, The Stand by Stephen King, or Marley and Me by John Grogan.
20.To whom would you award the Nobel Prize for Literature and why?
Oh, Geez. Maybe The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, or The Help by Kathryn Stockett.
