Description

iv just finished behind the scenes at the museum and thou its a good read i found it more confusing then it needed to have been ,with all the backward n forward thru the generations of the families. or am i just getting old

I love Kate Atkinson's books. Chalkie, don't let this one put you off. Her Jackson Brodie ex-policeman series is excellent. Atkinson does like to overlap his storyline and weave the characters in and out of the plot but she does it very effectively until you can't wait to see how the mystery will be solved.

I agree, I think Kate is one of the best writers around and I love the way she interweaves all the stories. All her characters are so well drawn and Behind the Scenes is one of the best books I have read for a long time. Roll on her next one!
