A Voice in the Wind by Francine Rivers is the first book in the Mark of the Lion Series. The book does not follow only one story but three. The first starts off in Judea, where Hadassah and her family live. However Rome has invaded and is destroying the city. Hadassah is the only one of her family to survive. However she is not a Jew. Her father was raised by the dead by Jesus and since then have been devout Christians. The Romans take her as a slave to Rome.

I have planned to start off my book reading for 2012 with the autobiography novel of a Christian icon, who I love so much.
"Saint Therese of Lisieux".
I'm wanting to gain so much of a positive feel going into the new year, Saint Therese is loved by so many Catholics and other people from all walks of life and her story and life examples are a true lesson and hold great examples.

I have read through the first few chapters of this autobiography and I'm touched by it right from the first page.
This is a beautiful telling of the life story of Saint Therese, as told by her personally in her own words...... A great presentation of both Christian faith & true humen ability.
