Description

Salander is plotting her revenge - against the man who tried to kill her, and against the government institutions that very nearly destroyed her life. But it is not going to be a straightforward campaign. After taking a bullet to the head, Salander is under close supervision in Intensive Care, and is set to face trial for three murders and one attempted murder on her eventual release. With the help of journalist Mikael Blomkvist and his researchers at Millennium magazine, Salander must not only prove her innocence, but identify and denounce the corrupt politicians that have allowed the vulnerable to become victims of abuse and violence. Once a victim herself, Salander is now ready to fight back.

I think we all regret that there will be no more SL books! His companion just published a memoir and for a while we all hoped that she owned the half-written book that's supposed to have stayed in SL's computer, but it doesn't look that way...As far as I know, there's no new book on the horizon!

This one is however a fitting end to the series. It shares all the virtues of the earlier books, highly interesting characters and interesting digressions into social issues - something you rarely find in thrillers that can be often quite brainless...The reason I didn't rate it higher is that I'm convinced the book could have gained from a editor's red pen: it's way too long and sometimes rambling...But a very good read, nonetheless.

This is a great book and a great 'ending' to the trilogy!

Coming from a law background it was a real treat to have the elements of that in print in this way, incredibly amusing to say the least!

The characters in this book are slick and fresh and a joy to read, which is always a good sign lol.

All in all, no complaints!!

This was definitely the best book of the three. It did start off slow like the other two but I found I couldn't put it down once I got to the final third. It's a bit disappointing that there can never be any more written.

I loved this book! I am sad that there will not be any others. So many of the characters could be the "leads" in their own stories.

Wonderful climax to Larsson'sTrilogy. How sad that he has died & we won't be able to enjoy any more of his books

A great final book in the trilogy, Do not think it would flow so well without already reading the previous books. As said before a great pity that the author is no longer with us.
