Description

One by one, children of New York's wealthiest are taken hostage. But the criminal doesn't crave money or power--he only wants to ask the elite if they know the price others pay for their luxurious lifestyles. And, if they don't, he corrects their ignorance--by killing them.

This was a great read. I couldn't put it down. The story grips you and keeps you wanting more. Very exciting and interesting. The intelegence of the crimnal against the the cops was amazing. What made it exciting is the way the crinmal was always one step ahed of the police. It'a a must read......

Patterson new book is thoroughly satisfying with lots of action and interplay with the lead characters. It is a step down from "Alex Cross but worth the read

4+ stars for Worst Case as usual, Patterson keeps um coming. Not 5 stars because for once, I had the ending figured out 2/3 through.

Now on with the next book in the Pile, Patterson's Worst Cast. I can bank on anything James writes will grab me in the first few pages, and so it does. It's hard not to compare the doings with Alex Cross's mode, but this looks good so far.
