Enter BFF Stevie Rae. She wants to help Z but she has massive problems of her own. The rogue Red Fledglings are acting up, and this time not even Stevie Rae can protect them from the consequences. Her kinda boyfriend, Dallas, is sweet but too nosy for his own good. The truth is, Stevie Rae’s hiding a secret that might be the key to getting Zoey home but also threatens to explode her whole world.

In the middle of the whole mess is Aphrodite: ex-Fledgling, trust-fund baby, total hag from Hell (and proud of it). She’s always been blessed (if you could call it that) with visions that can reveal the future, but now it seems Nyx has decided to speak through her with the goddess’s own voice, whether she wants it or not. Aphrodite’s loyalty can swing a lot of different ways, but right now Zoey’s fate hangs in the balance.

Three girls… playing with fire… if they don’t watch out, everyone will get Burned.

I'm rereading Burned by PC and Kristin Cast! I can't wait for the next book in the HON Series, Hidden!

Also, I need some help... I'm writing a book and I need a name for a Bookstore/Cafe. If you could help that would be AWESOME!

Arg!!! OMG

i hate kristine cast for leaving me hanging i cant wait to read the next book though..... i really am supprised how she wrote a really long series with a cliff hanger at the end of each book but she still kept the readers interested wow she is one hell of an authour

Burned was a fantastic book and it shows a different side to Zoey it shows her when she is weak and how she begins to become strong again with the help of those who she loves

It’s been a while since my last House of Night book, but I didn’t find myself lost picking up the series again. I did find the way that the characters speak in this series somewhat annoying at times. It would be fine if only a couple of the characters did it.. but all of them do, and it’s a little too much. I think my favourite characters are actually Stevie Rae and Rephaim, they’re a little darker and thus appeal to me more, of course. Aphrodite is great as well. What I find weird about this series is, I guess the best way to put it is inconsistencies with the levels the characters are at. These kids are mature enough to be sexually active, dealing with life and death issues as well as the usual growing pains of adolescence, but on the flip side of the coin they don’t seem very bright. They require explain or themselves over explain their thought processes to get to the conclusions they’ve drawn – it’s a little painful – they explain the meaning of words that in all honesty aren’t that “difficult” to each other, and at one point (I can’t remember if it was in this book or in Awakened, which I read directly after) Stevie Rae didn’t know what a bull was. Seriously. I mean, maybe it’s me being completely out of touch with teenagers today, but teenagers know what bull’s are, right??? I mean as far as I know, most kids over the age of 8 probably do? So, I found some of those things very strange.

I have read the whole series of House of Night all up to this book. I can't wait to read Burned. In Tempted I can't beleive Heath dies. So I can't wait to read this one. I have heard it is really cool. So if any body this book please loan it to me so I can read it.

uhhhh i loved this book i loved stevie rae and rephaims relationship... i loved the part when heath tells zoey what he has to do....... it was a good book and im already reading awakened

i am entirely too addicted to these books this is the 4th site i've been on to try to read "Burned" online since my library does not have it. im goin nuts, Tempted left me angry and wishing it would go on!!!! o geeze (:

I'V JUST FINISHED READING (BURNED ) & I MUST SAY IT WAS UTERLY & TRULY AMAZING I LOVED THE WAY EACH CARICATURES HAD THERE OUN STORY & WE GET TO HEAR IT & WERE READING THE WORDS IT WAS IN MY OPINION BREATH TAKING I WILL BE STARTING THE NEWEST BOOK THE 8TH ONE TONIGHT =D I CAN ACTUALLY KEEP TALK ABOUT THIS BOOK ALL DAY! I read the first couple on a friend's recommendation. The friend in question is also a die-hard Twilight fan... I should've known then. I didn't find them to be written particularly well, nor did I find the story very interesting. However- if you are a big fan of the Twilight series, you may like these. Not my cup of tea ;-)

@jipsie thanx i had no idea i just saw it in a book magazine and assumed it was the first book since it showed a picture of all of them together if you go on amazon you can read the first pages of a book type the book name and authour then google and then click on the website that has the serial number and other nubers
