How do you read the books you downloaded? And the hunger games series is the best books i have ever read! Ever!!! I recomend this to anyone who likes tense, fast moving, heart racing, romanctic, and can put it down books! Love these books!!!

Definitely the best book in the hunger games series but you cannot read this one first or you may not understand the concept as well. Finnick is the best character ever. The last book in the series is good as well.

I've read this book about 7 times. It is such an interesting book!:) I love how the author keeps you on the dge of your seat and wanting more!

i think this book is good i started reading it three days ago and it is great

okay lotts of books have three books in a series i bet you know how the first books great the second books good and the third books gret thats how i feel.

Considering that the middle book in a trilogy always has the hardest job, being without a beginning and an end as such but having to bridge both, I thought that “Catching Fire” did a good job of keeping me interested in the fate of the characters of “The Hunger Games” (which I loved!), and making me pick up the final book in the series as soon as I put this one down.

My main disappointment with this book was the abrupt jump from Katniss emerging victorious from the “Hunger Games” in book 1, to her life in the victors’ village in District 12 some time after arriving back home. After suffering with her through the many torments suffered in the arena, I would have loved a more detailed description of her homecoming. How did Gale react on seeing her again? Or her sister? The first part of the book seemed to be narrated with complete emotional detachment, until the real action started and we finally got an insight into Katniss’ innermost thoughts again. Although I sometimes felt annoyed with Katniss’ inconsistent feelings towards the two men in her life, I gave her some leeway for being a teenager in a situation no young person should ever have to be in – having to face her own death to try and keep her loved ones safe. For me Gale remained too much of a shadowy figure to ever really understand her torment though.

Without giving too much away, a large part of this book followed along the same lines as the “Hunger Games”, which I found surprising considering the many other options the author had to deliver something completely new in this novel. Nevertheless, the book certainly wasn’t lacking in action and drama, and kept me hooked until the end. Though the story seemed a bit rushed at times, and lacked some of the subtle moral guidelines the first book delivered so effortlessly, I still thoroughly enjoyed reading this installment of the trilogy, and have already started on number 3.

I've have just seen the movie with my best friend. I just love reading these books and it is so cool to see it on the big screen. I'm so ready for the second movie comes out. And I might just go see the first one again

Definitely not as good as the first novel. I was disappointed on the heavy focus of Peeta versus Gale... too Twilighty for me.

This is my second time reading this book. I love this book.

I like this one a lot, but not as much as the hunger games, bubt it is up there with it, i cannot wait for the movies.

Catching Fire isn't as good as The Hunger Games but it still is a brilliant read.

SPECTACULAR!! This is an extremly well written book, but it has a terrible ending! Suzanne Collins leaves you hanging off the edge of a cliff right over a pit of piosoness snakes! hehe. But it's really amazing up until the last 3 chapters, which are a little confusing. Still, it's smashing, I've read it 9 times, and have almost memorized it. My favorite of the 3.

My comments on the first book, in that I wish that the author had dropped the whole love triangle thing and stuck with making the tragedy of Peeta and Katniss happen, run true for this book as well. It really would have been emotional reading if a slightly different tack had been taken… but, not my choice, so I just have to live with what was written. I really loved the pace and the story and I could see what the series was building toward. I thought the end was a little messy and rushed, and the logic between what Katniss was doing when she woke up mostly escaped me, but it leads nicely into the third book. Once again, imagine the ending with a different situation between Katniss and Peeta?? Lost potential aggravates me with book characters, and this series has lost potential in that arena. But, my pet peeve, and other than that thoroughly great reading.
