This classic book is a Christmas must-read! All the good, bad, generous and greedy characters are there, wrapped in Dickensian dystopia but real and still recognisable today. It's a book filled with tales of family love and unselfishness, the fight against poverty, the comfortably wealthy and the callous rich, meanness of spirit (with visits from ghosts) then learning to give and ultimately receive redemption. In short, learning about life and caring and sharing at Christmastime.
