This book includes various in vitro, in vivo experiments and Phase I clinical trial done helps us to understand how nuclear medicine modality using 99mTc-INH and 99mTc-EMB as radiotracer can be use for the diagnosis of TB, a major cause of death especially in developing country. In vitro and in vivo uptake of these radiotracers is a positive sign for its diagnostic utility not only for the patients suffering from sensitive tuberculosis but also resistant ones.
