Description

Nora should have known her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described as anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy, Marcie Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.

The further Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim bloodline has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?

Oh this book was amazing. It was like every minute you was just super pissed at everyone for some reason. Oh and Patch..OH! How many times I wish I could jump inside this books and kick him where it hurts! :) And then the twist! No one expected HIM at all to be so evil. And Nora's mom how much I hate her guts right now! THE BOOK IS AWESOME I JUST HAVE TO FINISH THE LAST CHAPTER.

I really love this book and all and I've read it over and over again, but who is the Black Hand??? I don't know if Rixion or Mr Miller...well I know Mr Miller is the Black Hand but how did he kill Mr Grey (Nora's' dad)

While Nora annoyed me quite frequently in this book with her stupid decision making, lack of trust and anger it didn’t take away from the story too much, and there is still enough intrigue and interest around Patch that it was quite a driver to devour the book. There were some really great heated moments, and while I worked out the twist pretty early on in the piece it was still a very enjoyable story to carry through. Vee, I have decided, reminds me of the former ‘ho from the Stephanie Plum books, whose name I can’t currently remember. I’m looking forward to reading the next book? Final book? In the series.

I just finsihed Crescendo, the sequel to Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick and it was fantastic! I can't wait until its sequel, Silence, comes out!

I just finished Crescendo. I def do not want to wait until October to read the next book! It is so captivating, I just want to read it now. It is so good.

If you want to read something similar before October, Becca Fitzpatrick recommends "Paranormalcy" by Kiersten White or "Hereafter" by Tara Hudson. Apparently one book is scary and the other has a ghostly twist.
