Deja Dead

I couldn't really get into this book....................I usually give a book a couple of chapters to draw me in, but gave this book at least 5 chapters and still found it a bit slow........................I will try another of her books later to see if it was just that book or if its her style of writing that puts me off..................But I love watching "Bones" on TV.

The story was good, but could have been told as a short. Reichs style is a little too rambling for my tastes. Too much print is expended on the main character dithering about stuff we've already read about, and far too much print is devoted to GPS-style directions which really have no bearing on the story. The characters were also, on the whole, unlikeable, and I found myself wondering why I was reading this travelog full of obnoxious or stupid people. The mystery was the only good part about the book, and the only reason I read through to the end. But I won't be picking up any more books in the series.
