Nerd

Such a great book!! Very intresting, never insults the reader, maybe more of a boys book, but i love te honesty of it. Also how believable the, setting, language, characters are. I would recommmend to people that love to be taken on an adventure!

Happy Reading!!

was an amazing book. thought the writer stole a little too much from Lord of the Rings though. the names and some of the details correlate a little too closely. other than that it was great!!!!

Never mention the film when talking about this book, they simply share the same characters and vague plot.

This is a very enjoyable fantasy read set in a great backdrop of a new land.

Not as good as lord of the rings or harry potter but definitely worth a read as are the rest of the series.

There's a lot to get into and take in, but read consistently is a good way to polish off this book. I read it on holiday break and thoroughly enjoyed it, but with such a long gap left before obtaining the second book, I'm going to have to read up on the first book again just to remember what happened! I'd suggest buying this as a trilogy set and reading them in order. They are very good; even if you might need a thesaurus sometimes just to work out what the Dickens a word means.

I absolutely love the Eragon series and was at first dissapointed at the decision to make it into more than a trilogy as I will have to wait for the books to come out, but I really enjoy reading them so I look forward to when they are released.

The film really disapointed me, it was nothing like the book. Characters were portrayed differently than in the book and also the storyline was as if they had taken the basic story from the book and then just added lots of unecessary stuff on top. It was a big dissapointment for me but i can't wait for the next book to come out.

Paolini definitely created a very interesting world and story line, but he writes everything in third person so you never really get into the main character. Everything is a fly-on-the-wall perspective, and feels narrated the whole time. A good story but disappointingly I wanted to experience the world as Eragon, not watch it go by.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Unfortunately i just recently found out that it is a series. Ofcourse, the movie was nothing what i expected. The book shares so much detail and emotion, and really brings into the life and world of the dragon rider. The very opposite can be said of the movie. Having already read the book before seeing the movie, I certainly have a biased opinion, but watching the movie felt like so much was missing from the story line. Compared to the book, that is exactly the case. Sometimes i just wish the film industry could let a good book stay a good book.
