I just finished reading the second book , I read it in one day it was that good and I am craving to read the last book. Hats off to E L James .....!!!!! :D

I have just finished the last book and must say U felt the same as you, I bought all three books at the same time so felt I had to read them all.

I thought the first book was great, second book boring as hell and the third book a little better. I really think that all could have been condensed into the first book but I suppose this is how authors make their money.

This book has definitely been attention grabbing. I did enjoy reading these books because of the provocative nature of the books but I am really debating after reading the second one, if I want to continue to the next. In some areas it felt boring and predictable. I know that in the end of will probably read the final book but mostly because I do not like to leave a series unfinished.

I think they Ryan Gosling in mind to play Grey, but truthfully, I think Matt Bomer and Alexis Bleidel should play the roles of Christian and Ana.

I agree that she's not the best writer however it does reel you in. I think Matthew McConahey, (is that how you spell it), should be Christian Grey when they make the movie-What do you all think??

Its not the most well written trilogy but its so DAMN addictive. Sharing the trilogy with my mum and I'm waiting for book two. What can I expect? Will I be more in love with Mr Grey at the end?

I wondered after reading the first book how much story there would be left to drag out over three books – as it turns out, not much. The thing is, the premise is, despite essentially being fan fiction, is not all that bad, but it was just executed so poorly. The first book was balanced a lot better than this one, which was repetitive and frustrating, and I honestly just wanted to punch both the characters in this one. The kinky sex each time was do something a little kinky different from last time… and the fuck hard. Rather than having a million sex scenes, what the author would have been better to do is actually build to a longer, more creatively put together sex scene that went further into developing the dark sexuality of their relationship. This is the element that worked a lot better in the first book that just failed in the second. Add to that the complete mentally unstable nature of their relationship and this book just did not work for me on any level.
