Description

When literature student Anastasia Steele is drafted to interview the successful young entrepreneur Christian Grey for her campus magazine, she finds him attractive, enigmatic and intimidating. Convinced their meeting went badly, she tries to put Grey out of her mind - until he happens to turn up at the out-of-town hardware store where she works part-time. Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

Reading this book took me forever and not in a good way... I just could not see what all the fuss was about. The 'good bits' were the same over and over, the characters were unlovable and it was just plain boring. Probably the first time its taken me so long to finish... a book!

I read one, and thought it was sort of ok, two was slightly beteter but really book 3. It's contrived, stupid and not very well written. I stopped reading it, because I just can't be bothered anymore.

Definitely agree

Bad fan fiction is still bad fan fiction.

the 3rd was the best, less *** and more of a story

To think i bought them grrrrrrrrrr lol

true i read them all but the 3rd book sucks theres no point in reading it if you ask me

I talked to a co-worker of mine who is reading the series and is on the 3rd book as well. She has had it for about a month now and is saying the same thing. She is only on page 30. She said the 2nd book is better, but the 3rd is just not that great. Considering I am on the 1st one still, I might get the 2nd, but from the sounds of it...the 3rd will be a bit of a let down.

I have to say that I have given up reading this book, which I never do. Had my doubts about it initially but proceeded due to the hype. I wish I hadn't started! Badly written, boring, and I agree with most of you that it is dull. Wishing now I hadn't bought the trilogy!!

A bit boring took me a while to get through it with all the hype surrounding this book i thought it would be so much better!

i would have to agree seems to have taken me forever to get through this book.. but i did pick up book 2 and 3 so lets hope i can get through them faster so i can move onto something else :)

I think this will end up being my opinion as well. I will likely read the whole thing. The only book I ever trashed and din't read was a long time ago and was an Oprah Book of the Month that was horrible!!
