Biography
Guy Adams is a writer and actor. One of his most recent projects, The Rules of Modern Policing by Gene Hunt. has sold over 120,000 copies since being published by Transworld in 2007. Guy has also written two Torchwood novels, The House That Jack Built and The Men Who Sold the World for BBC Books; and The Case Notes of Sherlock Holmes, a fictional facsimile of a scrapbook kept by Doctor John Watson. This was published in 2009 by Carlton Books in association with the Estate of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the writer's birth. The first of two brand new Sherlock Holmes novels, The Breath of God, will be published by Titan Books late in 2011 with The Army of Doctor Moreau to follow in 2012.
Guy is also the author of the fantasy novels The World House and its sequel Restoration, published by Angry Robot.
Currently he is working with Hammer Books on novelizations based on movies from 'The Studio that Dripped Blood'. The first, Kronos, (based, of course, on Camp on Blood Island... no not really...) is out now, the second Hands of the Ripper (based on the Bresslaw classic, I only Arsked! ... no, still not really...) will be published next year.
