Heroes of Olympus: The Son of Neptune
|
Description
Seven half-bloods shall answer the call,
To storm or fire the world must fall.
An oath to keep with a final breath,
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death.
Who are the other four mentioned in the prophesy? The answer may lie in another camp miles away, where a new camper has shown up and appears to be the son of Neptune, god of the sea. . .
With an ever-expanding cast of brave-hearted heroes and formidable foes, this second book in The Heroes of Olympus series offers all of the action, pathos, and humor that Rick Riordan fans crave.

I kind think the same thing too. I mean, the story was practically finshed in The Last Olympian, and then the prophecy came. These books are good, don't get me wrong, but it just felt finished at The Lat Olympian. They won the battle, Annabeth and Percy kissed and were going to become a couple, everything was alright. Riordan could have left the story, but these books are still good. =)

I disagree. I mean, he wrote another because his fans wanted more and the Kane Chronicles weren't really as big of a hit as Percy Jackson. People wanted Percy again so thats what he gave them. I'm so happy that he is doing another series and I can't wait till next fall for the next one. I miss Annabeth!!
