Nine of us came here. We look like you. We talk like you. We live among you. But we are not you. We can do things you dream of doing. We have powers you dream of having. We are stronger and faster than anything you have ever seen. We are the superheroes you worship in movies and comic books—but we are real.

Our plan was to grow, and train, and become strong, and become one, and fight them. But they found us and started hunting us first. Now all of us are running. Spending our lives in shadows, in places where no one would look, blending in. We have lived among you without you knowing.

Book Crazy

I finally got this book and finsihed andf it was so cool i cannot wait to read the next book. This book was very adventurous and had some action in it but not enough in my opinion and it also had a bit of romance .

so i give this book 5*

Hey!!! Just a question for all you avid readers! How do you choose your next book? Recently, I have been looking at the last letter of the last page of the last book I have finished. That letter is going to be the beginning of the next authors last name.

Do you generally just pick based on the mood your feeling?

I just wanted to know how YOU pick your next read!!!

i had a thing with reading Catherine Cooksons The Glass Virgin. now im lost coz i love reading and dont have anything to read that im really interested in. never thought of that kinda thing tho

Just started this book yesterday 3/28/11. I am a firm believer in "books trump movies" so I downloaded this to my nook and got started. I couldn't resist since the movie looks good (and my 14 yr old raved about it).

"The power of 6" the description of the book is amazing.

OMG I loved this book and was so sad to finish it! If anyone knows if there is rumour to write a sequal answer by comment !! I can see why people can relate this to twilight but it is soooo much better and i advise anybody to read it, i got my mum to read it and she was up till 3am reading it !!! (:

This book was so great! It is about an alien, and includes lots of action and sci-fi elements, but the main character was very much human, which made him relatable. The book also had some romance and friendships, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I couldn't stop reading it until I was done, and I now want more. I recommend this to anyone, whether you think you will like it or not, because chances are you will LOVE it!

this books is amazing well the extracat i read is i am going to buy it soon it is wonderful its a must read and it was fantastic i reccomend it to evreyone there will be a movie based on the book starring alex petteyfir and one of the main characters in glee

I just read a article on a movie that is suppose to be coming out soon based upon this book. It talks about how the movie is hope to compare to the Twight series and reach that young adult crowd. I just want to know has anyone read the book and/or any of the books in the series?
