Biography

The author of fifty novels, including the famous The Sundowners, seven of Jon Cleary's books have been made into feature films and three have been adapted for television. In 1995 he was awarded the Inaugural Ned Kelly Award for his lifetime contribution to crime fiction in Australia. He is also the recipient of the Edgar Allan Poe award from the Mystery Writers of America.
