Lady Luck commented on Kate Atkinson's profile

Kate Atkinson writes in an understated way, slowly building her varied characters, layer upon layer, until you go 'wow' when they all come together in the final chapters. I especially love her Jackson Brodie series. It's best read in order but I began with her most recent book, got hooked and read back through all her works with great delight. Probably best suited to a mature reader who understands what life dishes out.
