Erin and Darcy aren't the kind of girls who normally answer personal ads. Young, successful and thrilled with life in the big city, the best friends are ready to enjoy all the romance and glamour that New York has to offer.
But when two women agree as a lark to answer personal ads to help a film-maker friend in her research, the glittering city turns deadly. Soon, Erin's body is found on an abandoned pier-a mysterious high-heeled dancing slipper on one lifeless foot.
