i'm almost one with the first book! 24 more pages! i love this book my mom says that it is really a great book and that she loves it too. she has read all 9 of these books they get inapropro at time, but it is still a very great book everything in the book is really easy to understand. unlike some other book that i have read this on always has somthing going on in it. whitch is great for me because i have a very short attention span so having somting always going on is really good. i really didnt like to read untill my mom told me about this book so i stared to read in and it got me into reading so if your anything like me myabe you will get intrested in reading too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was an enjoyable introduction to the series, settling into the school, the characters and the mythology. The rituals got a little tiresome quickly, and weren’t all that interesting, but the story got there in the end and was a solid read.

I was browsing the shelves at a local book resale shop and saw this. I was first deterred because I thought "Oh Vampires. It's twilight all over again." But the summary and $4 price tag was to much to pass up.

The first book was a little slow for me, but I liked it a lot better than I thought I would.
