An amazing story of two sisters, one wanting to live and grow up the other ready to end the battle of cancer. I was brought to tears reading this book, i loved every part of it. i was surprised and brought to tears with how this ended so differently from the movie but i LOVED it all the same. this is a must read for anyone struggling with something like this in their family or just really looking for something good to read that will move you in more ways than one. i am currently looking for the book cause i would love to read it again, and i must recommend that if you like this book you should consider reading The vow, The Time travelers wife.both also really great books and movies as well.

"My Sister's Keeper" brought me to tears. A desperate family scenario painted from many different angles - just when I thought "yes that's how I'd feel", I'd be offered an alternative view that would be just as convincing. I was reading it for my book club, we sat up until late at night, discussing and arguing the many issues raised. How many novels do you recommend to both your teenage daughter and your mother-in-law?! A wonderful introduction to the world of Jodi Picoult.

This was my first Jodi Picoult book and definitely not my last. My Sister's Keeper gives the different perspective of each character and how they deal with Kate's cancer. It was an unexpected ending which kept you interested to the very end

have not yet read the book but seen the movie

Recently started reading, adore both of the Jodi Picoult books I have read, 'My Sister's Keeper' and 'Sing you Home'. I have just started 'Picture Perfect' has anyone read this? Does anyone recommend any other novels to me, Jodi Picoult or otherwise? I like books that make me think, laugh and cry!!

Love this book - "That the people you love can surprise you every day. That maybe who we are isn't so much about what we do, but rather what we're capable of when we least expect it." ~ Jodi Lynn Picoult

Omg i watched the movie first then read the book and was so angry that it was different both had me crying im really not sure which i liked better in the book it ends with on the way from the court room to the hospital the judge guy (dam cant remember his name guy played by alec baldwin in the movie) and anna are in a carcrash anna dies so Kate gets all the parts she needs and lives on. I thought that was really upsetting and am still not sure which ending i liked better.

My sister's Keeper was a very emtional book. I cried in so many parts of this book. The movie wasn't as good as the book (in my opioin) . The book is always better than the movie.

I loved how the story was laid out, and loved how the main character grew throughout the book. I also like how the book ended- it was a real-life, believale ending, and there was no "Everything always ends up perfect" B.S.

I have just finished this book. Yes it was good and yes it made me cry and made me think. I liked the way each chapter is written from another character's viewpoint. But still it was a little boring in places and a little bit courtroom-drama-ish. JP did include the romance between the solicitor and his long-time ex which was a welcome light releif. Don't get me wrong I'm glad I read it :-)
