BDB Soti Pty was established in February 2008 to develop TheReadingRoom.com, an online community of readers designed to reach a global English language market. Membership is free.

TheReadingRoom.com is a place for readers of all ages to share their reading experience, get tailored book recommendations, discuss books in a wide variety of genres or join an online reading groups catering for a broad range of genres from literary fiction to crime. Members can post their own discussions and comments, track authors, get to know other members, find like-minded readers, record books they've loaned to others, and find out more information about what is going on in the book world.

The core of the site is a reader's bookshelf, where they can create their virtual library, recording all the books they have read, as well as those on their bookshelf and their wishlist. Adding books is a one click process and can be done anywhere on the site, including when browsing other member's bookshelves, through search, recommendations and book groups. Books can be purchased on the site through affiliated retail book sites including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Seek Books, and others.

TheReadingRoom.com contains a database of approximately 2.5 million English language book titles, including all editions and those out of print. Each of these books includes a book and an author profile page.

TheReadingRoom.com focuses on Members' interactions with other Members, offering several different ways for them to discuss and recommend books to each other and share their bookshelves.

TheReadingRoom.com is a lifelog of your reading and a great way to record and share the enjoyment and experience of books. .
