I love this book and have read it multiple times. She is such a gifted author. It isn't an easy read by any stretch of the imagination but well worth the trip. Her word pictures are so beautiful. I love the way she describes people, places and things and I love the characters that emerge in this story. It is a true romance that crosses centuries. Love is the general theme of the book and it is handled beautifully.
