For those young people who don't have time to read a full novel but would like something to read in between classes, I would recommend this one. It is a collection of short stories from best selling authors. I liked the variation of stories. If one feels like not continuing with the story, one can continue to the next one. i wish some more books like this would come out. it is like a packet of mixed nuts.

Short stories are rushed by nature, but half of these stories just stopped abruptly without even a semi-conclusion. I wasn't happy with that. All the authors are well established, so the writing is good with good characters (such as we could come to know in a few pages). Harrison's story was the worse for just stopping, but I came to find out at the end of the book she has an ongoing series with the main character. I swear it seems like she just took the first few chapters of a complete book and used it for the story. Good way to get you to read the rest of the series, I guess, but I felt a bit tricked and cheated. With all that, I can't give this book a very good rating. It's worth reading, I suppose, if you are fans of the authors, but I was generally left feeling frustrated and disgruntled.
