has anyone read swallows and amazons? i love it so far

A fabulous story celebrating the imagination and adventures children can find when they're allowed to really play without pesky adults hovering all the time. It may be a bit old-fashioned, but the Swallows and Amazons with their gutsy self-confidence and awesome competance provide a great antidote for the overscheduled, understimulated children of today with the helicopter parents. And it's just the beginning. This series starts off with a bang and just gets better.
