love these books! i kinda like that everyone's waiting for good news especially in mockingjay but we never really get good news about katniss or panem! mockingjay depressed me though :( i think my fave one was catching fire, but the hunger games was amazing too! i can't choose<3

I wasn't really interested in the first book. But then once I got towards the end I became highly interested in the book and started the second one immediately after finishing the first one. I legit could not put Catching Fire down and once I finished it after a day and a half I started Mockingjay and finished it within a couple days. I purposely read that slowly cause I did not want it to end. I was very upset when I finished the Trilogy but it s definitely something I recommend.

I actually started reading the first book "The hunger games" about 2 months ago, for the first 3 days, I read about 2 hours each night, And then for some reason I just keep not being able to pick it back up., I am very very interested in reading it, and I should just DO IT! But FOr some reason I am unable to really feel like GOSH I CANT PUT THIS DOWn. IT may have something to do with the fact that every night I have about 7 different shows to catch up on - so i watch all my shows n then I promise myself I will read b4 bed, except, I end up NOT! Because I am loosing interest and am about 53 percent through with the first book,. Feels like Katniss just keeps repeating herself, over n over, about her past. Any one here REALLLY enjoying the book, and is it worth it for me to just push through ? I am hoping it is since I spent about 6 dollars on each book for my Fire - ( pretty good - i know) But still I spent money on them, and am hoping to FINAlly get back to a part of thhe book where It starts to get interesting again. x0x I feel like the movie will hopefully do the books justice though.

I have read the first one and about half way through the second. I am totally hooked. Some of the story is intense and I just can't help wanting to see how the characters develop. I feel as though I see the horror the characters face as though I am there with them. Hopefully the rest of the book a and a half keeps me as eager to read as the first half have. Time will tell

I have read the whole series twice and the books are amazing. They are hard to put down. The movie is a bit disappointing though.

All books are great with a definate need to read all but I feel the books decline slightly as the series goes on. Had no problems picking the books up though - only prob was putting them down to join the real world lol

I loved the first and second books but disappointment set in about 3/4 of the way through the third book. I felt the ending was rushed and not logical given the path some of the characters had been on. There were some obvious contradictions in the characters behaviours and one of the main characters was basically written out in one or two sentences. Very disappointing. Up until then I was really enjoying the series.

Loved all three books. The concept was original and it was a page turner for sure. I loved all of the characters

and can't wait for the movie to come out and see how close it will follow Suzanne Collins original story.

I just finished the Hunger Games, and wow! It starts out very dark and then becomes all most too much to put down. I hope the second and third books are just as engaging.
