The Lion and the Unicorn
|
Description
Written in 1941, this book expresses Orwell's views on the outdated British class system and how he believes this was hampering the war effort. He expresses the need for a socialist revolution to take place in Britain in order for Hitler to be defeated. The views expressed in this publication provided the premise for his hugely successful novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four.
