Review : - "The Lost World" by Michael Crichton

=====================================

Entertaining with non-stop edge-of-your-seat action that not only picks up where the first novel ,"Jurassic Park", left off but tops it as a first-rate adventure story that is brilliantly written, has lovable characters and and showcases Dinosaurs to it's reader in a sense that you feel they are real.

I felt like I was part of the it!.... Loved it, recommend it!.

It has now been 6 years since former multimillionaire Dr. John Hammond and his Biological company "InGen", secretly attempted to create and developed the most advanced animal theme park the World would ever see on a remote island off the "Cost of Costa Rica", but one which ended in disaster before it even took off.

Now, former Mathematic Ian Malcolm and long time friend Richard Levine have been hearing reports of strange events happening around Costa Rica's neighboring islands.

With claims of strange looking creatures washing up dead along the chain of islands and a suspicious outbreak of illnesses among locals, Richard Levine convinces Malcolm into joining him on an expedition to the region, and in particular to "Site B".

The island section which both men come to believe may be a "Lost World". A place where time may have forgotten, and where prehistoric life may still survive.

Forming a small team which includes Sarah Harding, Eddie Carr, Doc Thorne & Levines two young students, Kelly & Arby, they head out un-expecting of the dangers and terror that they are about to face!!!!.

"The Lost World" by. Michael Crichton

=============================

I've read through the first set of chapters and now up to the second lot, and unlike the first Jurassic Park novel, you're thrown into the excitement of the story strait away and it's continuation link with book one has been very well written as if you never really left the adventure at all.

Also "Ian Malcome" the main character, has been cleverly given a change and is likable and well fitted in.

Also references exct. to other characters from book 1 adds little more interest along the way and work very well.

New characters are also introduced with some needing a bit to get used to liking but this novel is good so far.
