Description

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he's not alone. When the lift's doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade--a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.
Just like Thomas, the Gladers don't know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they've closed tight. And every 30 days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.
Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up--the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers.
Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind.

The maze runner that just got done reading three days ago was a good book. If I had the second chance to read it agian but right now i cant because someone else have it checked out to them. I hope i can get the chance to read the whole series and find wat happens to them and see if they get out of that cazy maze!!! I hope thomas and the rest of the gladers can get out so the dont get eaten by the monsters (forgot what they are called).

Wow, awesome book! It didn't keep you waiting, and you weren't bored. There was always something happening that was important. Brilliant idea, James has got a great imagination and has created such a thrilling, scary story world. There wasn't a romance in the first book, but hopefully one will develop in the second one. Can't wait to read the rest of the series!!

Nice to read your honest review. I'd heard that it wasn't very exciting. Probably one to borrow rather than buy!
