I totally agree, I read the first few comments and was a little upset that a book that had moved me so much could be thought of in that way but I am glad to have a fellow fan. Although it was a harrowing story, it would be wonderful to think of it as being true, I really hope that is what it is like when you die.

This has become a book I pick up and read bits of again and again. I especially enjoy the scenes between mack, God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. It is good to remember GOD IS ESPECIALLY FOND OF YOU :-)

Same situation. I have a friend who loves this book. I find the idealistic veiw of God somewhat shallow.

I am still trying to get through. I find it alittle embarressing and I truly enjoy good preaching.

Talk about a book that gets you in the first 3 pages! I just started reading this on the bus this morning and now I can' t put it down. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!
