Vittorio, the Vampire

The second story in Rice's "New Tales of the Vampires" series is set in 1450 Italy. Witnessing vampires butcher his family, Vittorio is spared from death by Ursula, who transforms him into her undead sweetheart. Vittorio's desire for revenge leads him to a descent into religion's darkest side.
