One Sweet Ride...Oh yeah. A single look at the leggy blonde in the stands and Tucker Jenkins is ready to buck all night long. It's time to forget all about his cheating ex and his usual hands off policy. One Hot Night...Becca Hart is an East Coast professor. Not a buckle bunny. But no degree can prepare her for the moves of the sexy bull rider she hooks up with at her first rodeo...or the shock of finding him at her first Oklahoma State University staff meeting. One Happy Ending...Tuck knows it's all about holding on, no matter how wild the ride. Now he just has to convince Becca that a rough start out of the chute doesn't mean they aren't a smokin' combination...

Ahh a misplaced Yankee deep in cowboy country. That's always entertaining. Add in a sexier than hell cowboy, lots of heat, a little bit of drama and you know it's gonna be a good time. One Night with a Cowboy had me smiling and laughing, near compromising my vegetarian morals for a pair of really **** sexy leather chaps (and the cowboy in them) and **** ready to go check out the nearest rodeo. Yeah boy, *fans self* Cat Johnson definitely has a new fan.

Becca and Tuck have both taken some nasty blows in the relationship department and after a sizzling first encounter have a scorching one night stand expecting never to see each other again. Little do they know the surprise encounter coming their way...

Tuck's a bull riding cowboy with a few surprises under his belt and I loved him. He's sexy and has some swagger but is a bit woman wary after his divorce and not looking for anything serious again. He's got a fun playful side which I loved-- teasing Becca and her sister about their city girl ways-- which made me smile a good bit.

It took me a little longer to warm up to Becca. She's a little abrasive there at the start, a little uptight and snobby and had me going 'really now?' a couple times over things (like not knowing they ride bulls at a rodeo or what a hush puppy was) but she actually won me over and I found that pretty impressive. I ended up really liking her and seeing her grow and adjust to her new life was a nice treat. She definitely ended a much better person than she started. So I'm glad I stuck it out with her.

There's a nice bit of chemistry going on between the two. They can definitely heat up the sheets-- though it wasn't quite as steamy as I was expecting-- and have a charming 'getting to become friends' outside of the bedroom too. I loved watching them interact, try to keep their relationship on the down low and see how they were with the people in their regular lives (her sister and his army/rodeo buddies). You really get a good feel for who they are and what's important to them and that really made the book for me.

I really enjoyed One Night with a Cowboy. It moved quickly and kept me entertained. The secondary characters really caught my eye too and I'm looking forward to seeing more of them. If they're anywhere as entertaining as Tuck and Becca where while getting to know each other they'll be a **** good time.
